It is definitely recommended that you double check the eye size (the width of the lens) in addition to the bridge measurement (nose space, or space between lenses) for an overall measurement of the width of the frame. This frame was discontinued by the manufacturer (I think just because they came out with newer styles, nothing wrong with this one) and I wanted this frame anyway, so it was nice that it was available online. The only problem is that optometrists do not like to work with frames bought online because they cannot warranty them if something goes wrong. Another thing is the size of the frame, it is on the larger side of Carrera frames, even if you or someone you know has a larger face and you think this might work, go into a real optican's office to try on frames to get an idea of the width, you might be surprised what you find, your face might not be as big (or small) as you thought.

It is a BEAUTIFUL and well made frame, however. It comes with pretty nice lenses, but they are pretty light tinted. I suggest if you buy this frame, wear it around and see what you think about the color, the lenses are replaceable, so you can get new (prescription and non-prescription sun lenses) put into the frame. Talk to your optician about different lens thicknesses as the width of the frame can contribute to really thick lenses. I HIGHLY suggest a grey lens with a silver 'flash mirror' finish, it looks awesome with the two-toned frame.
