I bought this suitcase for a 6-week-long trip to Australia. It was definitely big enough to hold everything, and the top pocket was wonderful for all of the last-minute things I thought of while packing. Plenty of internal pockets, too! The only problem I had was that it's so big, I had to be quite careful to keep it within weight requirements. I ended up with 53 lbs at the airport-- yikes! The 4-wheel system was great for smooth rolling through customs, and it definitely adds the benefit of not tipping over like my two-wheeled suitcases often do once they're packed.
The main drawback is that the handle doesn't extend very far, and doesn't feel very sturdy. The 45 degree angle is nice for easy pulling, but you have to be careful to fully press the button or it feels like you're going to break the handle off. It's also difficult to use the handle WITHOUT it snapping to an angle, which isn't always useful if you want to roll it on all four wheels. It wasn't bad for me (I'm pretty short, at 5'3") but when my boyfriend pulled it (he's 6'1") it was quite obnoxious for him.
The zippers work smoothly and withstood the international travel/TSA abuse. (Update post 2nd trip through international customs-- one of pullers on the zippers broke in the middle, so it's still usable, but smaller and harder to pull).
I've also gotten tons of compliments on the pattern, and immediately picked it out from all of the other luggage in the airport. (I also bought the duffel, and I loved having the matching set for my carryon and checked bag).
