Product Description
Outdoor gear has a tendency to become too complicated and overweighed with bells and whistles. Not so with the North Face Pre-Hab. A simple classic, the Pre-hab consists of a large main compartment with a cinch closure. But, after all, this is 2011 and this daypack has a comfy Airmesh back panel with FlexVent injection-molded shoulder straps. Got this pack for my 17" macbook pro. It's a bit loose so I use a neoprene sleeve as well. The side pocket zip is awesome access for the laptop. The main pocket could use a little more organization, but I suppose that wouldn't make it a "rucksack" as much. The lack of padding in the straps I think is beneficial in that you don't have to worry about the padding wearing thin or become lopsided because of overuse from heavy loads, like being fully packed with the weight of a 17" computer, ipad, cables, adapters and other things. The ether grey/red combo is just as pictured, very nice looking. I was just a little surprised about the gray on the top cover--it looks like a dark grey denim print more than solid, but not a major fashion complaint. It is a bit more of a manly touch. Most of the consumer Reviews tell that the "The North Face Pre-Hab Pack - Men's, TNF Black, One Size" are high quality item.
