My husband and I wanted to give my younger brother a coat for his birthday this year, since he just moved up to Utah and the warmest thing he had was sweatshirts. We made the condition that he needed to choose something that was either wool or down, so that it would actually be warm.

I took my brother out shopping and we went to a bunch of different stores. He didn't really like any of the coats that we were finding.

And then we found this coat, and even from the moment we saw it on the hanger, it was obvious that this would be the coat he wanted.

This coat is the perfect coat. The salespeople said it one of their best-selling coats.

It is very attractive--it looks like something that teenagers and young adults can wear to look cool--but it is also well-made and warm. In this picture on Amazon, it looks like the zipper is really bright and obvious. I have never noticed the zipper on my brother's coat.

The sewing is high-quality. The coat is thick enough that it will definitely keep the wearer warm.

I've visited with my brother a few times since we bought the coat. He tells me he wears it every day and he really loves it. He's so glad we bought it.
