I bought this Jacket, never heard of the name brand/manufacturer. I am an avid reader of product's reviews, I will claim that I am in-tunned with most good slick and popular brands. This Jacket surprised me to an appeasement. The design is trim almost, below hip level, the style is military style parka. The material is rain proof, stiff in appearance and the fabric is cut with body shape in mind. Most jackets are simply sacks that drape over men's body. This is an old fashion "fitted" jacket. It's a soft shell, moderate level of insulation. It's meant to be a slick looking snowboarder's jacket, but it works on many levels. It's warm enough to simply go with a base layer (cotton) to get you through 1-2 degree temps. Excellent wind breaker. The hooded cover is very sleek, cut to provide you with a snug feel as if you have a camel neck on. The Velcro quality is superior. The Zipper is very quality and frankly I have never seen a zipper like this, hard to describe. It's a light weight Parka.

Size: If you wear a Medium, then order SMALL, it will fit you better, sizing is based on a hip length Parka so slightly bigger in cut. I bought the Orange/Crimson color (photo), mildly bright in look but gives away a sharp look. At first glance, it would challenge an Arcytryx or Spyder jacket that are usually priced at $500.00 Amazon had this in my hands in less than 5 days.
