I love Smartwool for layering and find it to be ideal for base layer in all kinds of applications. The "cap" sleeve on this garmet is a big disapointment. It ends up bunched up under my arm pit and does not lay down well under other layers. I have other short sleeve Smartwool garments (year before) that had enough of a sleeve that this issue was eliminated. I am hopefull Smartwool will go back to that cut in the future!
