This is a great bag. For the longest time I have wanted one and as far as leather messenger bags go, this is certainly one of them! :)

No, really I think it is awesome. It is rugged but also looks professional, such that I can bring it to a staff meeting but still not be afraid to knock it around while running errands. The stitching feels like it's up to anything I can dish out with nice heavy duty leather construction.

I love it even though, as other reviews state, the flap uses a Velcro closure, but I just used other corresponding strips to cover the Velcro on the flap and the main compartment to keep them from connecting. I'll probably improvise magnetic connectors sometime. But honestly I will be using this bag alot.
