I found Pacsafe online just before my kids left for Europe, and got them each a bag. I wasn't sure if they would use them...because they are perhaps not flashy, particularly for the city...but after reading online about pickpockets in England and France, my kids were a bit more willing to give them a try. After several experiences at crowded tourist attractions, the metro, and out walking, the kids actually thanked me for getting the bags...apparently they had had some encounters with gypsies and roving groups of pickpockets, where the bags proved to be worth their weight in gold. This bag has multiple pockets, and zippers closed, although the top to the zipper is hidden, so it cannot be opened without some difficulty. The strap is slash-proof. Would recommend highly...worth the high price, particularly when you consider you might end up losing your passport, wallet, cell phone, camera, and more.
